We are proud to have been a partner of the Ukrainian
Government supporting Ukraine’s development for over twenty five
years, and having been embedded in Government for seven.
Pre-war, Crown Agents acted as one of the Government’s procurement agents and tackled corruption in Ukraine’s healthcare system, saving over 64 million dollars in medical drug procurement, ensuring citizens had access to life-saving medicines. Our public procurement reform drove towards a completely transparent procurement environment, eliminating opportunities for corruption and encouraging a competitive market.
Since the start of the war, Crown Agents International Development has raised more than £25 million to support the humanitarian response in Ukraine.
We are also managing funds for multiple donors such as the UK Government and large corporations to strengthen the work of over 120 Civil Society Organisations in Ukraine. This includes rehabilitating over 50 health care facilities back to working levels, the reconstruction of children’s hospitals, as well as deploying modular building technology to assist with the need for temporary structures.
