Quality Management

The management and staff of Crown Agents are committed to the continual improvement of the quality of the services provided, in order to ensure that they meet the needs and contractual requirements of their clients “right, first time”.

These quality objectives are met through the strict and consistent application of a documented Quality Management System (QMS) which is registered with the British Standards Institution to the international quality standard BS EN ISO 9001:2015. The scope of this registration specifically covers Services in Economic Growth, Governance, Health, Humanitarian and Stabilisation, Training & Professional Development, Procurement and Supply Chain Services including international Freight Forwarding and Verification Services and management of Quality Assurance and Inspection Services (QAIS) delivered from the UK, Bangladesh, India, Nigeria and Singapore.

The major business processes encompassed by the QMS range from opportunity management, through proposal preparation and contract negotiation, to demobilisation and controlled contract completion. The associated contract and project management, measurement and improvement procedures that are applied encompass the broad range from human resource and document management, through internal reporting, progress review, issue reporting and implementing effective corrective and preventive action, to internal and external audit.
