Increasing the skills of tax revenue staff
We provided technical assistance to the Institute of Tax and Customs Administration (ITCA) to build its capacity to deliver training and consultancy services in Ethiopia. By increasing the capacity of the ITCA, the World Bank-funded project facilitated ongoing revenue reform initiatives in Ethiopia under a wider Civil Service Capacity Building Programme.
Our approach:
- Developing and delivering training courses in technical areas of tax and customs
- Reviewing and modifying existing bachelors and masters degree programmes in public administration
- Working with ITCA staff to improve the institute’s research and consultancy skills
