Exploring PPPs with the Directorate Public Private Partnerships – The National Treasury of Kenya /

Following a successful delivery in May 2022, the Directorate of PPP in the National Treasury once again commissioned Crown Agents to deliver a five-day training for senior officials of the directorate and key stakeholders in government departments working to ensure PPP projects are planned effectively.

With the Kenyan government’s increased focus on the use of PPP, particularly in the infrastructure and water sectors, this training was intended to provide a fundamental end-to-end understanding of PPPs and examine some pertinent issues in their effective governance and management systems.

Drawing on our extensive real-world PPP expertise, Crown Agents was able to deliver a programme in July 2023 on the core governance, risk factors and effective management of PPPs that was tailored to meet the specific requirements of the delegation.

It was a pleasure to host new and existing members of the PPP
directorate in our London offices, with many excellent connections
formed between Crown Agents and the National Treasury to
strengthen our ongoing relationship.

100% of delegates stated that the course would have a significant or considerable impact on their work performance.

“Thought provoking and extremely helpful in understanding the big picture.”
