Habiba Wurie is the Country Director for Crown Agents in Sierra Leone. As Country Director, Habiba oversees our diverse portfolio of governance systems strengthening projects- in health, trade and financial management.

Habiba is committed to inclusive, practical and impactful growth, largely due to 15 years’ experience working as a sustainable development practitioner across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Europe.

As a working mama, she is passionate about bringing that inclusive approach to how and where she works. She is an advocate for developing diverse teams that allow for valuable perspectives into the environments Crown Agents operates.

Plantains are a source of joy for her, and she often wonders how she got so lucky to come from a country where they are in abundance.
