Vacancy for Chief Programmes Officer /

We are seeking an outstanding and highly ambitious individual to join our Executive Team to drive the next stage of our growth. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Programmes Officer will lead, invigorate and develop business growth and programme delivery. You will have responsibility for the overall leadership, development, planning and delivery of the strategic direction of the Health and Humanitarian function and our USA office working closely with our Washington team. You will be a compelling thought leader and will represent Crown Agents to governments, donors, partners, the international development community, and other stakeholders.

This role offers a unique opportunity for an individual with a genuine passion to bring lasting change all over the world, and across a multitude of disciplines. You will demonstrate significant experience of strategic and operational leadership internationally, and leading teams to win and deliver large scale programmes. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong network and a proven track record of building impactful relationships across a range of stakeholders. Crucially, you will bring drive, agility, ambition and strong commercial acumen and, most importantly, will be demonstrably aligned with our mission.

The role can be based globally.  We would expect someone based outside of the UK to have an initial period of time at the London HQ for orientation. The salary is competitive with the market rate and commensurate with the seniority of the appointment.
