Crown Agents appoints Zambian Maureen Simuyandi as Non-Executive Member to its Board of Directors /

Crown Agents is delighted to announce that Maureen Simuyandi has been appointed Non-Executive Member to its Board of Directors.

Maureen is an international development professional with over 20 years experience in health system strengthening and public financial management. She has worked in multifaceted international development organisations such as John Snow Inc. (JSI) and with Crown Agents previously in Central and East Africa (Zambia, Malawi, Kenya) with a variety of different donors including USAID, Global Fund, DFID, JICA, EU and DANIDA.

Through this hands on work she has built up extensive technical, programmatic, and operational experience with a particular focus on programme design and implementation; project start up and close out; strategic planning and policy development;  contract management; capacity building; financial performance, and risk management.

Maureen has proven experience in collaboration and consensus building and a track record of successful engagement with high-level government officials, national stakeholders and international funding partners. 

We are thrilled that she will be joining the Board whilst being based in Zambia, helping support our new full scale office and ensuring we continue our “localisation” and “pivot to geography” strategy.
