| Scope of Services: | · Prepare a Strategic Environmental and Social Assessment for the transport component of the Second MCC Compact for Mozambique, which aims to embed E&S considerations into the early planning phase of the Second Compact by promoting environmentally sound and socially sustainable options, contributing to subproject site selection and strategic decision making at national level as well as, local and roads sub-sector levels in Zambézia province.
· Produce a Resettlement Policy Framework based on resettlement scoping assessment for the transport component of the Second MCC Compact for Mozambique. · Assist in indicating likely budgetary requirements and necessary contingencies to be included in the planning for any specialist environmental and socials aspects and for resettlement and compensation.
