INVITATION TO SUBMIT BIDS FOR THE SUPPLY OF PUPILS’ BOOKS AND TEACHERS’ GUIDES TO THE PARTNERSHIP FOR LEARING FOR ALL IN NIGERIA (PLANE) PROGRAMME /

PLANE is a seven-year, GBP 95m programme funded by the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) and implemented by DAI Global UK.

PLANE represents one window of intervention in a broader package of investment intended to enable a more inclusive and effective basic education system in Nigeria. It seeks to do this through improvements in teaching and learning, focusing on foundational skills, unlocking governance bottlenecks for better education service delivery, improvements in the regulation of the non-state sector, and embedding the use of data and evidence within the education system.

PLANE will work in Kano, Kaduna, Jigawa States, the South West (subject to FCDO confirmation), South East (subject to FCDO confirmation), and the federal capital territory. PLANE is targeting 3,500 schools in the specified regions in Nigeria.

Crown Agents acting as agents for and on behalf of their Principal, DAI Global UK/DAI, invite suitably qualified licensed printers/registered legal entities to print and pack 805,126 pupils’ books, 16,000 teacher guides and 4,200 poster sets.

The closing date for receipt of electronic bids shall be the 31 March 2022 at 13.00 UK time.
