Mansoor has over 18 years of experience working in international development across Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and the Horn of Africa. Before joining Crown Agents, he was a freelance consultant with a diverse portfolio of projects. Supporting clients to manage and mitigate risk in emerging and frontier markets across the globe, advising on CVE efforts in a number of contexts and providing management and technical advisory services to a range of international development projects, Mansoor has a wide range of experience which he brings to Crown Agents.

He started his career working in Iraq and Afghanistan, developing local media and helping to set up Afghanistan’s first independent national news agency. From 2015 to 2017, he also served as the UN’s Peace and Development Advisor in Eritrea. Mansoor holds a PhD from the London School of Economics (LSE) where he researched Egyptian nationalism and the role of Islamic clerics and an MSc in Political Sociology also from the LSE.
