Joshua Jackson is the Principal Consultant for Public Financial Management at Crown Agents in London.
Joshua has over 20 years of experience in 11 different countries across Africa, Asia and the South Pacific. This was mainly as an embedded long-term adviser with Ministries of Finance, including 1.5 years as Adviser to the Deputy Minister of Finance in Afghanistan, where he was also a key member of the core team that lead successful negotiations with the IMF. He also helped Indonesia improve its Open Budget Index score by 10% for the 2019 survey. He is currently the Project Director for the Procurement and Public Finance project in Nepal and is the international PFM adviser for health and accountability projects in Zambia and Mozambique.
Joshua grew up in Southern Africa and is an economist, budgeting and PFM expert with an MA in Economics and Development from the University of Sussex, UK.
