Sarah is Crown Agent’s Chief Programmes Officer, overseeing our Health and Crisis Response and Recovery Unit as well as our US operations.
Having worked in global health for over 20 years, delivering impactful programmes in health systems strengthening and reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health, she brings a wealth of experience to Crown Agents’ programmes. Sarah is passionate about developing resilient and sustainable systems that leave no one behind. Some key moments in her career were overseeing a programme to influence investment and domestic resourcing in family planning in ten countries, and others which enabled 2 million women and girls to access quality reproductive health services.
Sarah has a Doctorate in Health from the University of Bath focussed on innovative funding mechanisms for obstetric care in Nepal, and a Masters in Development Finance from the University of Manchester. She is also a lay member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Sarah enjoys being outdoors with her family, cycling, walking and gardening.
