Passionate about supporting the development of small enterprises and facilitating growth and prosperity through international trade, one of David’s first roles saw him stationed in India as Local Sales Manager of Freeset Bags and Apparel. A social enterprise, Freeset employs vulnerable women in Kolkata who have been victims of trafficking.

David has a wealth of experience working with DFID, FCO, UKEF and various bilateral and multilateral donors. As a Senior Consultant in CA’s Governance and Economic Growth team, he has been working with the DIT, advising on the Department’s strategic approach to aid and trade.

David dedicates his free time to sporting activities and volunteering at his local church.
