Charlie is the Principal Supply Chain Consultant within our Humanitarian team. He brings a wealth of practical experience built upon a solid academic foundation. Charlie is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) and has an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management along with an MA in Humanitarianism and Conflict Response. After a number of years as an army officer, Charlie worked as an Emergency Logistics Manager with Save the Children in various locations across the globe including Haiti, South Sudan, Liberia and Somalia. He then worked as an independent supply chain consultant in Sierra Leone during the Ebola crisis. Charlie has been with Crown Agents since 2016 working across all nodes of the supply chain and in projects at various stages of the crisis response cycle: from preparedness and mitigation, to immediate response and recovery. Most recently, Charlie has been the supply chain lead for the Ascend programme, working with a range of external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of pharmaceuticals and other commodities to support the global elimination of NTDs.
