Andrew Byama /

Andrew manages business development activities for Crown Agents’ Training and Professional Development’s East Africa market, including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Mauritius, Seychelles, Mozambique, Sudan, South Sudan, and Ethiopia. Drawing on excellent inter-personal skills, he is responsible for managing client relationships and being the contact person for all open and customised training courses within the region.

Andrew joined Crown Agents in 2022, having previously amassed a wealth of experience in implementing training interventions, consultancy, and human capital development projects both in the public and private sectors. His career has taken him around the world, with roles in Turkey, Ethiopia, Uganda, Malawi, and the United Arab Emirates.

Andrew is passionate about making a positive difference and is particularly enthusiastic about supporting Crown Agents’ agenda to improve the quality of life and opportunities for global citizens.

He has a BSc. in Business Administration from the United States International University – Africa, Kenya, and is an accredited trainer in the global psychometric tool Clarity4D. Based in Nairobi, in his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and indulging his passions for sports, international relations, history and gastronomy.
