Crown Agents and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria launches pilot masterclass programme at MoU signing /

Crown Agents is delighted to have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) to deliver quality training services and other capacity building initiatives together in Nigeria.

Crown Agents and CIBN will launch an initial pilot programme 26-28 November 2018 – ‘Governance, Risk and Compliance Masterclass’ with the aim of building skills within financial institutions.

We are excited by this latest partnership which allows us to work with reputable government institutions like CIBN as it strives to develop and invest in the work force of one of Nigeria’s most influential sectors.” Commented Nigeria Country Director Jiru Bako on the announcement of the partnership.

The President and Chairman of the CIBN shared that the pilot masterclass programme is making waves across their network following the announcement. He has reassured me of his commitment to making this a success and we look forward to being a part of the CIBN’s history.” Said Regional Director for West Africa, Comfort Sakoma.

Following its initial introduction in November, Crown Agents and CIBN will relaunch the pilot programme as a training course in 2019.
