Crown Agents is delighted to announce that it has been selected as an implementing partner on the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Support Which Implements Fast Transition 5 (SWIFT 5) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) framework contract to assist countries in transition.

SWIFT 5 is a five-year contract worth up to US$2.5 billion managed by USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI), which provides flexible and targeted support to local organisations in some of the world’s most challenging environments.

Under SWIFT 5, implementing partners are selected through a competitive process to provide rapid short-term assistance to countries as they transition out of conflict, political crises, and/or natural disasters.

OTI is part of USAID’s Bureau for Democracy, Conflict, and Humanitarian Assistance. Since 1994 through innovative and adaptive programming, it has laid the foundation for long-term development in countries emerging from conflict by promoting reconciliation, jumpstarting local economies, supporting nascent independent media, and fostering peace and democracy.[1]

CA has rich expertise in humanitarian response management and stabilisation and a proven track record in supplementing the capacities of national governments, multilateral agencies, and NGOs

Through SWIFT 5 we look forward to collaborating with OTI to achieve its mission to forge positive political change by developing and supporting targeted local initiatives and partnerships and rapidly delivering goods, services, and expertise to respond to urgent developments around the globe.
