Graduates and interns
What does Crown Agents offer for graduates?
We find it most effective to employ graduates into "real jobs", to ensure that we give you the immediate opportunity to take a hands-on approach to our work. This ensures that your progress and development within Crown Agents can be made at a pace to reflect your skills, allowing you time to explore the different types of careers that Crown Agents can offer. If you have already found your vocation, we can support your career in your chosen discipline.
Because of the type of work we do, roles within Crown Agents may involve international travel. In addition to enhancing your business and interpersonal skills this will give you a better understanding of Crown Agents as a whole. You'll have the opportunity to see the results of our projects overseas first hand, and the difference we make.
We encourage and support studying for professional qualifications relevant to the different business streams, and also have an extensive internal training programme.
What does Crown Agents look for in graduate applicants?
All of our graduates have a minimum 2:1 degree. What makes them stand out is their enthusiasm for the work we do : a proven interest in international development would therefore be advantageous.
In addition, we need to be able to balance costs against outcomes, so all our graduates will have commercial awareness as a key skill.
Strong professional and personal skills are also paramount, and a flexible approach is essential.
What are the types of opportunities that Crown Agents has?
