The training experience

Before you start your training

What to expect

On the first day of your programme you will be welcomed by your course director and course co-ordinator who will give you detailed information about the coming programme, including any visits. You will also be given a tour of the facilities. Please be prompt so you do not miss this important induction.

All our courses include tuition, training materials, refreshments and a certificate of attendance

Scheduled courses will be conducted entirely in English. A proficient level of both spoken and written English is required by all delegates so that they can fully benefit from the course and participate in our interactive style of training. We can deliver customised courses in other languages; please contact us for further information.

Checklist – what to do as soon as you have booked

Make payment: Please arrange transfer of payment. All training course fees are payable prior to the start of the course as outlined in our terms and conditions. Delegates may be denied entry to the course until their fees are paid in full.

Obtain a visa in plenty of time: Visas may be required to enter the country in which you are attending a course. Please submit your visa application as early as possible to ensure it can be processed prior to the course starting. On completion of your booking form, Crown Agents can provide you with a visa support letter. If you require a student visitor visa – please ensure you apply for the correct type of visa to avoid any unnecessary delays to your application.

Book accommodation: All courses, unless specified in the course description, are priced on a non-residential basis, enabling participants to choose accommodation to match their needs and budgets.
Please note: We do not book delegates’ accommodation for them, but can provide delegates with an extensive list of convenient hotels and guest houses with their booking information, to suit all budgets

Arrange insurance: Make the necessary arrangements for personal, medical and travel insurance before travelling.

Pack: The dress code for our courses is smart casual wear. You are more than welcome to wear your regional or national dress, especially for the certificate presentation and course photographs.

IMPORTANT: Please read our Terms and Conditions here.

Our training facilities

We currently run courses in several dynamic global business hubs. Lunch and refreshments during breaks will be provided by Crown Agents throughout the duration of your training. We have responded to feedback to continuously refine the menus offered to our participants and these cater for a range of different international cuisines to suit all tastes.

The Crown Agents Certificate of Attendance

All delegates receive a Crown Agents certificate – a globally recognised mark of excellence – confirming their completion of the training. Delegates also receive an official group photo for display back in the office.

Alumni community

All delegates gain automatic entry into our global alumni community and will receive an expanding range of exclusive benefits, merchandise and invitations to alumni networking events.

Transport and accommodation

All our training locations worldwide are located within easy reach of airports and other transport hubs and are ideally suited for exploring local attractions.

In the UK, our training facilities in Central London are at the heart of the train and Underground network, with easy access to a range of accommodation options across London and the surrounding areas.

Course specific study visits and cultural excursions

Each course includes at least one study visit to a relevant organisation or project to view classroom-based theory in action, as well as hearing from inspirational guest speakers relevant to the industry or topic.

Delegates will also be taken on at least one group cultural excursion as part of their training package. Examples include a visit to the Houses of Parliament or Wembley Stadium in London, Niagara Falls in Canada, or a boat cruise in Dubai. Our co-ordination team is also on hand to give you advice on tourist attractions you may wish to visit in the evenings or at weekends.

Rewarding loyalty

We offer all our clients a ‘4+1’ loyalty scheme. This means that for every four delegates enrolled from an organisation in any calendar year, we will provide you with one additional place, entirely free of charge.*
