We have worked in Zimbabwe since the country’s independence in 1980 and established Crown Agents Zimbabwe Ltd as a private subsidiary in 1998. We provide consultancy, supply chain and financial services to multiple projects and donors, NGOs, government ministries and national bodies including DFID, AusAID, the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) and National Pharmaceutical Company (NatPharm). We are responsible for Crown Agents' work across Southern Africa. Project highlights include:
- More than 19,000 health workers paid top-up salaries of over US$112 million in 4 years to provide urgent healthcare, for which we won a British Expertise International Award.
- Food security and livelihoods vouchers for nearly 200,000 households to purchase agriculture inputs and tools
- Fee payments to ensure 400,000 vulnerable children and orphans attend schools
