 | Paul Batchelor, Chairman of The Crown Agents as well as CAIM (non-executive), was appointed chairman on 1 May 2007 having been a non-executive director of the company since 2006. Paul is a former member of PWC's Global Management Team, responsible for strategy development. A development economist by background, he has, as a management consultant, specialised in major international development projects and the reform of public enterprises, public services and public administration. He is a member of the Advisory Council of Transparency International, Chairman of Oxford Policy Management and a Trustee of Water Aid. |
 | Michael Naameh, Managing Director. A professional investment manager and economist with over 28 years of experience, Michael is our managing director and chief investment officer. The major part of Michael's career has been devoted to helping central banks, sovereign wealth funds and public sector pension funds to develop optimum investment and risk management policies and strategies. Today he oversees our investment operations and key government relationships. He has co-authored two books on central bank reserve management and presented many papers on reserves, pension and risk management issues at international forums including the World Bank Small States Forum, Commonwealth Finance Ministers Meetings and Asian Development Bank. He plays a leading role designing and delivering our client and regional training programmes. Michael holds a MSc in International Economics and Econometrics from the University of London and a BA (Hons) in Business Studies. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA). |
 | Mike Symes has over 25 years international banking experience and has developed long-term relationships with central banks, commercial banks and other organisations in developing countries. Mike is a Director of both CAIM and Crown Agents Bank. His business development strategy focuses on delivering high service levels and finding practical solutions to address clients' needs. Mike enjoys visiting clients and seeks to gain an understanding of their individual needs so that he can assist them in meeting their long-term objectives. Mike encourages his team to adopt a flexible approach to service delivery to differentiate Crown Agents Bank and Crown Agents Investment Management from their competitors. He is a contributor to Crown Agents' financial training programmes and has a very participative style. |
 | Stephen Hollingdale - responsible for all aspects of the finances and regulation of CAIM as well as its fellow subsidiary, Crown Agents Bank. He is a member of CAIM's executive management committee, which provides overall direction and monitoring of all business activities. He has hands on experience of regulatory matters which dates from when CAIM first became regulated over 20 years ago. As a qualified accountant, founder member of the UK Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and experienced practitioner he has lectured, mentored and advised clients on regulation, controls, processes and accounting matters extensively both in the UK and overseas for many years. |
 | Stuart Ponder - as business development director, Stuart has been building our relationships with central banks, governments and development organisations operating in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas for over 20 years. He is passionate about enhancing institutional capacity in developing countries through modern training and mentoring solutions and is a regular contributor to the design and delivery of Crown Agents training programmes. |
 | Gwenda Carpenter is Personal Assistant to CAIM's directors. She provides corporate administrative support to them and also to CAIM's Investment Advisory Panel, assistance with client communication and liaison and general secretarial support to the investment team.  | Terence Jagger CBE, Chief Executive of The Crown Agents and non-executive director of CAIM, joined Crown Agents in March 2011 from one of the most senior civilian roles within the Ministry of Defence, command secretary of the RAF at their HQ in High Wycombe, UK. His 16-year career with the MoD included roles as the political advisor to the NATO commander in Kabul and head of the private finance initiative. He also led the privatisation of QinetiQ. Prior to this he spent several years in the private sector with companies such as Shell, American Express, Burmah Oil and Unigate. | Steve Wiltshire, non-executive director, is founder and managing director of SW1 Consulting, a specialist management consultancy, providing advice to institutional investment managers on best practice. Prior to establishing his own advisory firm, he had a distinguished career with the Russell Group spanning 21 years in senior positions including Chief Investment Officer, Director of Research and Director of Quantitative Services. He started his career in financial services as a fixed income analyst with Prudential Bache Securities in 1987. Steve holds a PhD in environmental science and is a registered representative of the London Stock Exchange. |

 | Robin Woodall is a Senior Fund Manager and Deputy Chief Investment Officer. For over 25 years, Robin has devoted his working life to enabling pension funds and other investment vehicles achieve their target returns within a risk-controlled environment.He is interested in all aspects of equity market investment and was formerly a member of the primary markets group of the London Stock Exchange. He has also helped to establish a low carbon technology investment fund. His early experience of equities was gained with a state utility pensions fund before moving to a commercial investment firm. Robin is one of our Senior Fund Managers. As a non-executive director of a listed plc he has had experience of defending shareholders rights in a contested takeover bid. |
 | Charles Thomson is a Senior Fund Manager. His current focus is managing central bank global bond portfolios through active management of duration and yield curve exposures and relative value analysis within OECD sovereign bond markets. Having graduated with a degree in mathematics from Cambridge University, Charles began his career at Barclays Global Investors - specialising in the management of global bond portfolios. He has extensive experience of managing both low risk central bank reserve portfolios and longer duration pension fund fixed income funds. After spending nine years with Barclays Global Investors, Charles then spent seven years managing central bank, insurance company and pension fund portfolios for Middle Eastern institutional clients at Gulf International Bank. |
 | Slawomir Soroczynski -one of our senior fund managers, Slawek has extensive trading experience in many sectors of the fixed income markets and in foreign exchange and derivative products. Slawek worked for Commerzbank Group for six years as a senior local currency Bond Trader focusing in particular on Central Eastern Europe. Prior to joining Commerzbank, he had been chief dealer at Bank Przemyslowo-Handlowy in Krakow, Poland with responsibility for all treasury trading operations. Slawek lectured on financial markets and instruments at the Academy of Economics, Krakow, and is co-author of two books on the Polish financial markets. |
 | Chris Forage, a fixed income fund manager, Chris joined us in 2007. He had previously spent sixteen years in the Middle East as a senior portfolio manager responsible for fixed income, strategy, and asset allocation for ADIA who manage the oil revenues of the United Arab Emirates. Prior to taking up that post he had been a trader for ten years with Bank of America, Bank of Tokyo and Royal Bank Canada, making markets in European currency, government and supra national bonds. |
 | Simon Price - As senior fund manager, Simon currently manages a number of international balanced-fund portfolios, focusing on fundamental analysis for asset allocation/stock selection decision-making and the implementation of those decisions using direct equities and collective investment products. He enjoys building client relationships via effective portfolio management and client contact including client/trustee meetings and developing their capabilities via training courses on all aspects of investment and risk management. Simon joined CAIM in 2000 and for the previous six years he worked for Barclays in the Stockbrokers and Private Client divisions.  | Alina Lowe - as our financial economist, Alina works alongside CAIM's fund managers forecasting economic trends in major economies and interpreting market developments to provide policy advice to clients. Alina is at the heart of CAIM's information delivery to clients; she edits and provides content for the Capital Markets Weekly report and monthly Financial Review as well as producing our quarterly Economic Outlook. She also enjoys visiting clients to deliver practical training in economic forecasting, data analysis and use of Bloomberg and she acts as mentor to several clients' staff. |
 | James Ilori - CFA - as an assistant fund manager, James works directly with our team on investment portfolios, principally in the fixed income asset class. In addition, he writes the regular weekly and monthly market commentaries on emerging and developing markets. He joined CAIM in 2007 after gaining eight years of experience in corporate banking with Guaranty Trust Bank in Nigeria. James holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and an MSc in Economics. He also has an MBA from Warwick Business School and is a member of the CFA Institute. |
 | Laura Glen - as our performance manager, Laura has had over ten years experience in calculating portfolio and benchmark performance returns for clients. She is responsible for maintaining our compliance to the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS). Laura delivers practical training sessions on the topic of performance measurement for clients. This has given her the opportunity to travel to Africa and the Caribbean, which has led to a passion for travelling. Laura became an Associate of the Securities and Investment Institute after gaining her Investment Administration Qualification (IAQ). |
 | Charlie Nash - as risk analyst within CAIM, Charlie works closely with the fund managers and CIO to evaluate and monitor various risk parameters associated with investment decisions. Charlie is also involved in the analysis of new product structures and supports client training and mentoring programmes, as well as creating a variety of highly specialised spreadsheets to improve the efficiency and accurate reporting within CAIM. |
 | Chris Wilgoss - as chief dealer of Crown Agents Bank and authorised CAIM dealer, Chris is responsible for the Treasury Department's central bank relationships. Chris joined CA in 2008 after nearly 30 years in the City of London working for various commercial banks. During this time he has gained extensive knowledge and experience of money markets and foreign exchange. He is now enjoying the challenge of applying these skills within a totally different environment. |

 | Mike Robins - Mike heads CAIM's client administration team responsible for all client accounting and reporting requirements, he also provides money market and foreign exchange dealing expertise to the fund managers.  | Seema Sharma D'Costa has had considerable experience in cash management - working closely with the fund managers to ensure client accounts are adequately funded and excess funds efficiently deployed. She also helps Mike Robins in the client administration and reporting. Seema is also a dealer for CAIM. |
 | Paul Johnson - as client administrator and trainee bank dealer Paul works alongside CAIM and Crown Agents Bank staff to provide an individual client support service, including client reporting, money market deposits and foreign exchange. He is interested in all aspects of money market trading and has over six years experience in the retail banking sector. Paul is currently working closely with the IT team developing system improvements which will enable CAIM to deliver more effective services to its clients. |
