Mongolia Governance Assistance Project selects Crown Agents’ trips™ tax system

As part of Mongolia's Governance Assistance Project to improve public sector processes and financial management, Crown Agents is implementing its trips™ tax administration system for the Mongolian General Department of Taxation.

In partnership with the Daewoo International Corporation and Daewoo Information Systems, we are supplying, customising and installing our web-based system as well as providing training, technical support and data migration from the current Oracle-based system.

Crown Agents is implementing its trips™ tax administration systemFunded by the International Development Association, the project will serve more than one million tax payers and 150,000 companies registered with the General Department of Taxation and cover a range of tax types from personal and corporate to excise.

The trips™ system comprises taxpayer registration; returns processing; payment processing; taxpayer accounting, refunds and collections and the software will be customised to meet the client's requirements.
The Governance Assistance Project aims to improve the efficiency of governance processes and promote the transparency and accountability of public sector functions in order to foster the investment climate in Mongolia.
