In the International Development Journal (IDJ) (Japanese publisher) issued in July 2010, Ryo Tsujimoto, General Manager of Crown Agents Japan, and Doug Fraser, Deputy Manager of Crown Agents Japan were interviewed to introduce Crown Agents as an international procurement agent.
This volume featured "International Cooperation and Procurement". Ryo and Doug introduced Crown Agents' current procurement services as well as its long history as a procurement agent. In addition to procurement services, the interview also explained that internal training on procurement and training sessions are provided for clients, both donors and recipient governments, by Crown Agents.
Crown Agents' procurement services in the area of emergency relief aid, such as supporting the Japanese Emergency Grant Aid programme to Iraq and our role in providing emergency relief after the earthquake in Haiti, are also featured in the article. At the end of the interview, Ryo and Doug described the unique feature of Crown Agents is the flexibility of services which Crown Agents are able to offer based on considerable experiences and a wide international network of offices.
