The Government of Japan has developed "Grant Aid for Environment and Climate Change" to help recipient countries to cope with the challenge of climate change. This assistance includes Forestry Preservation Programmes to assist recipient countries to preserve and better manage their forestry resources and thus negate the negative impact of ozone depleting gases.
This new grant aid programmes provides support in the form of goods, small works and consultancy services, which shall be procured by Crown Agents.
