Crown Agents USA, Inc. (CA-USA) is seeking a Technical Advisors for an anticipated USAID project focusing on financial reform and public financial management based in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Project Description

The objective of this project is to improve the Government of Guatemala’s (GOG’s) ability to invest in health, education, nutrition, infrastructure and other public services through more efficient tax collection, lower levels of corruption, and improved public expenditure management. The projects components are anticipated to be:

Component 1: Domestic Resource Mobilization

Component 2: Expenditure Management and Procurement Reform

 

To support these goals, Crown Agents USA is seeking technical Advisors in the following areas:

  • Revenue Performance
  • Tax Policy
  • Domestic Revenue Mobilization
  • Budget Efficiency
  • Budget Transparency
  • Procurement reform
  • Budget Planning & Execution
  • Public-Private Dialogue/ Partnerships
  • Gender Integration
  • Monitoring & Evaluation
  • Public Financial Management

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of technical experience in Latin America; Guatemala experience preferred
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required; a Master’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience working with USAID or other international donors preferred
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
