Crown Agents is the sole agency providing sampling and inspection services to UNFPA for their male condom procurement. In this role and in addition to these services we recently completed the sampling and testing of condoms for the United Nations as part of their own extensive pre-qualification process for condom manufacturers. Crown Agents visited numerous manufacturers, located in South America, the Indian Sub-continent, South East Asia and the Far East. Samples of condoms were selected in accordance with the WHO specifications and guidelines for condom procurement, and condom samples were taken and forwarded to an independent testing laboratory for analysis against the latest WHO guidelines.
