Co-ordinated border management

Our clients are recognising that one of the best ways to facilitate trade and secure revenue is through increased cooperation. Ideally, cooperation can be increased at three different levels: (1) intra-agency, (2) inter-agency at a national level, and (3) inter-agency at an international or regional level.Integrated/coordinated border managementWe know that the degree to which this cooperation occurs can vary greatly according to the legislation, policies, and agreements in place as well as the capacity of those concerned to capture, exchange and utilise shared information. We bring experience helping clients in all of these areas.

We have more than a decade of experience helping our clients in Eastern Europe to align their border institutions and practices to integrate with the EU's border management systems. We are working with the ASEAN member states to facilitate their consolidation of border management across immigration, customs and border police agencies and our regional work in Africa contributes to better coordinated border management along transit corridors.
