Supporting electricity supplies to Bahamas

Crown Agents has acted as procurement agents for Bahamas Electricity Corporation since before their incorporation in 1961. We are primarily involved with the purchase of switchgear, transformers, underground cabling and cable joints. Our prominence in this field is due to our sound procurement systems together with the excellent technical support built up over many years of close association.

Currently, we are handling contracts totalling 80km of cable together with the necessary joints and terminations to support this major electricity provider meet their commitment to supply safe, reliable and cost-efficient electricity throughout the many islands of the Bahamas.
