The Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA) was established in response to the tragic earthquake of 8th October 2005 which devastated parts of northern Pakistan. ERRA is growing rapidly as an organisation and is in need of IT and communications equipment and additional personnel to administer and support this equipment. Having provided funding to support this need, DFID appointed Crown Agents to engage a local contractor able to provide equipment and personnel to support the immediate IT and Communication needs of the new Earthquake Authority. Crown Agents is working closely with the MIS Wing of ERRA to engage an appropriately qualified company through a transparent bidding process and will then monitor performance throughout the lifetime of the contract.
