Public procurement training in Macedonia
Training in public procurement and anti-corruption rules
United Nations Development Programme | 2004
The UNDP Project "Capacity Building of Local Government - Developing a Model Macedonian Municipality" built upon previous UNDP support programmes by developing a procurement training programme.
The principal objective was to enhance skill levels in local self-government employees so that public procurement procedures and anti-corruption rules were implemented in an accountable and transparent manner.
Crown Agents' role was to design the programme, develop the training material, attest to the quality of material produced by the national presenters and manage the training programme.
Delegates from five municipalities attended and were keen that we should extend this type of training to other municipalities.
