Crown Agents USA has been selected to act as the procurement agent and procurement oversight advisor for the Tanzanian government in its $698 million compact with the MCC. The compact is aimed at stimulating economic growth, increasing household incomes and raising the quality of life in program areas. Under the program, the Tanzania has decided to focus on strengthening or expanding existing infrastructures that are inadequate to meet the nation's needs.
The program consists of three projects: the Transport Sector Project, the Energy Sector Project, and the Water Sector Project. Each project improves areas that are essential to commercial growth and productivity, and the health and well-being of Tanzanians. CA-USA will provide procurement agent services, assisting the Tanzanian government to diligently oversee, discharge, and perform all services necessary to achieve the optimum value for money in MCC-funded contracts. In addition, we are providing procurement oversight and advisory services to government entities identified by the Tanzaian government and approved by the MCC to assume procurement responsibilities.
