During 2004 the Rural Water Supply Programme of the state Government suffered badly due to the poor quality of India Mark II and Extra Deep well hand-pumps procured by Public Health Engineering Department, Jaipur and duly inspected by other Inspection agency. Following various complaints about the failure of hand-pumps already installed, Crown Agents was approached to conduct pre-delivery inspection of new consignments of hand-pumps being manufactured and supplied by various manufacturers.
We have been improving the quality of hand-pumps thus providing crucial help to the client in their water supply programme for various rural regions in the Rajasthan State enabling the poor to have continuous access to safe drinking water.
