Implementing Jordan's Sales Tax

Crown Agents supported the implementation of a new VAT administration system for the Sales Tax Department of the Government of Jordan in support of the transition from sales tax to full input/output VAT, which started on 1 March 2001.

Crown Agents VIPS©, VAT Information Processing System, was implemented and customised to meet some of the specific local requirements, including full translation into Arabic.
