1. What is your current role with Crown Agents?
My most recent role was on a DFID infrastructure project focusing on the chronic infrastructure issues facing Iraq. The team included technical specialists in electricity, water, sanitation, contract and commercial management as well as engineering experience. We assisted the Iraqi Government at the national and local level to identify and prioritise essential projects that would address short, medium and long term needs. Through collaboration with international donor organisations we also identified and facilitated partnerships between funding streams and projects.
2. What have you enjoyed most whilst working with Crown Agents?
In general I always enjoy working with people and on projects that bring real and direct benefit to those in need. Whilst working for Crown Agents I have worked in some of the most arduous environments in Africa and the Middle East and I've enjoyed facing some significant challenges that have also demanded both people skills and technical abilities.
3. Why do you enjoy working with Crown Agents?
The most important thing for me is the team spirit and I value the fact that even though I am an independent consultant I have always been treated and supported as a part of the "family".
