During April and May Crown Agents hosted three groups of clients and contractors working for the Ethiopian Roads Authority on two-week training courses as part of a Department for International Development change management project being implemented by WSP.
This project is assisting Ethiopian Roads Authority to transform its direct labour-structured maintenance organisations into commercially orientated business units. Crown Agents produced a course that was largely focused on financial management and resource organisation, while developing the leadership and business management skills of managers who previously had never had to worry about whether they had earned sufficient money in the month to pay the bills incurred and the salaries of their staff.
