At a ceremony in Manila last month, the Philippines Bureau of Customs, Oracle Corporation and Crown Agents, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore possibilities of collaboration, cooperation and implementation of solutions for the national and international Single Window.

Using the TRIPS™ Integration Manager the initiative will enable interaction between and among government agencies, shipping and freight operators, airlines importers, exporters, brokers and Customs administrations.

On May 22, 2008, Bureau of Customs Commissioner Napoleon Morales, Oracle Philippines Hans Bayaborda and Crown Agents Director Nick Small signed the Memorandum of Understanding at the office of the Commissioner of Bureau of Customs.
