Bid Opening – Japan’s Programme for the Food Aid Project (KR) 2009 for the Republic of Kenya

On 2nd March 2010, the tender opening for the procurement of white maize, under a Japanese Food Aid Grant to the Republic of Kenya, took place at Crown Agents' Japan office.

Mr. John Njeru, Second Secretary from the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya kindly attended and gave a welcoming address. Following the bid opening he met with Crown Agents staff to further discuss the grant and the provision of food to Kenya.


Crown Agents is the procurement agent for the Government of the Republic of Kenya on this grant and provides the necessary services throughout the procurement process.
