Crown Agents does not run a specific graduate training scheme.
It has been found to be more effective to employ graduates directly within the individual business units where they will receive specific training in that field. At the same time graduates have the scope to move between departments, when opportunities present themselves.
Many of the opportunities will involve work and travel in different countries and will enable development of business skills including consultancy, financial and project management. We will encourage and support studying for professional qualifications relevant to the different business streams.
We recruit graduates with a minimum 2:1 degree, commercial awareness, strong personal and professional skills and a proven interest in international development.
Typically opportunities arise in the areas of:
1. Public finance management consultancy including:
- Finance and debt management
- Tax and customs
- Aid effectiveness
- Institutional development
2. Procurement consultancy
3. Information technology.
