On 4th February 2010, Crown Agents was congratulated by the MP for Sutton and Cheam, Mr Paul Burstow in a Parliament's Early Day Motion he submitted regarding the excellent performance of the organisation in 2009 in helping countries achieve their development goals.
It was noted that Crown Agents expertise in public financial management helps governments raise revenue, manage debt and plan expenditure more effectively, together with banking and asset management services Crown Agents helps ensure that wealth generated is spent or invested for the good of all.
Crown Agents was also congratulated on its role in activities such as helping to reduce malaria deaths in Africa, alleviating poverty and accelerating growth in Morocco, building healthcare capacity in Ethiopia, reducing corruption in Kenya, promoting capacity building in Rwanda, supporting justice reform efforts in Pakistan and strengthening public procurement in Vietnam. All these projects have helped Crown Agents' clients to improve peoples' lives.
