Crown Agents has been providing consultancy services to the Bulgarian government since 2001. Over this period, the range of services delivered has changed to reflect Bulgaria's transforming circumstances and needs but key to all our activities has been the path to EU accession. This has involved:
- closure of negotiations on the Acquis Communautaire
- developing the operational and administrative capacity to meet the standards required of an EU Member State.
- assisting in the post-accession phase to apply EU standards and best practice, including the specific EC Benchmarks related to tackling corruption and organised crime
All the services we have provided have been directly financed by Bulgarian government itself. Crown Agents has mobilised more than eighty international experts over the past seven years to deliver the services required.
